Who we are

The International Viola Congress 2018 (for short: IVC2018) is a unique event, organized by the Dutch Viola Society, a nonprofit organization promoting all viola related matters in The Netherlands. The IVC2018 takes place from Nov. 20th – 24th 2018. This website, first created in October 2017, acts as a digital hub of information for everyone interested in this congress.

Contact forms

If you submit information through one of our contact forms, such as the IVC2018 Congress Registration Form, this information is stored in an internal database. This database is only used as a temporary repository of new registrations. The information is imported to administrative files of the IVC Team for further processing. The information is deleted

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
